- n° 1 : La Bastide de Garlin / the Fortified Town of Garlin – 7 km (2h30)
The Fortified town of Garlin was created in 1303 by Marguerite de Béarn. Nowadays the only vestiges that remain are some talus and ditches. The village, which dominates the neighbouring valleys, shows its strategic character.
There is an interpretative route about the history of Garlin along the footpath.
- n°2 : Les Orchidées de Castetpugon / Castetpugon Orchids – 9 km (4h)
Dry lawns of Castetpugon are characterized by a mix of local flora of wild orchids.
- n°3 : Le Château de Mascaraàs / Castle of Mascaraàs – 7 km (2h30)
The Castle of Mascaraàs, situated on a watershed, was built in the 16th century and restored during the second half of the 18th century. There are explanatory signs along the footpath.
- n°4 : Portet, village résistant (3 juillet 1944) / Portet, resistant village (July, 3rd 1944 – 6 km (2h)
The village delimits the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, it dominates departments of Gers and Landes. Some books recount tragic events of the French Resistance, that happened in Portet during the second World War.

This little walk around the castle (17th century) will enchant you…You could enjoy the unrestricted views over the “domain” and its vines, over the Pyrénées… You will discover dry lawns, that abound with wild orchids during springtime. There are thematic signs along the footpath (made by the “Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels d’Aquitaine” and by the tourist office).

”Bark Fishers” do like the small lakes of Lembeye, Corbère – Abères and Bassillon, (38 hectares for the first one and 60 hectares for the second one).

Surprising, this footpath hidden in the middle of the hillsides, offers a superb view. During the walk you will discover the fountains of Moncaup.
