Fresco Churches |
Some churches, often of Norman origin, were decorated with fresco since the end of the 15th century.
These wall paintings represented scenes of the Old Testament and the New Testament : The Passion of Christ, the Last Judgement
The colours used were ochre, red, natural and burnt sienna.
